Radio Gigabit will participate in the 49th European Microwave Conference during the European Microwave Week 2019 (29th September - 4th October 2019, Paris Expo Porte de Versailles)

The 3-day 49 European Microwave Conference (EuMC) represents the main event in the European Microwave Week 2019, the largest European venue dedicated to microwave components, systems and technology.
EuMC is a premier event to present the status and trends in the field of microwave, mmWave and terahertz systems and technologies.
We will discuss our recent developments in the substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) technology and innovative SIW-based planar circuits for 28 GHz wireless applications.
The conference paper presents a planar orthomode transducer (OMT) operating in 27-30 GHz frequency band. The OMT is based on the SIW technology. It makes the proposed OMT miniature and cost-effective. Measurements of the fabricated prototypes proved OMT's high performance: 0.6 dB insertion loss and more than 27 dB of polarization discrimination. In addition, an application example included, where the developed planar OMT is used as a double-polarized feed element for an integrated lens antenna (ILA). The innovating operating principle of the planar transducer has been patented.
